Reflex Fleet Solutions collapses into administration

5 September 2026 · William Fletcher MBE, Editor

Reflex Fleet Solutions, a commercial vehicle hire company, has gone into administration just months after a multimillion-pound management buyout was completed with the aim of saving the business, according to a trade report.

The collapse will concern any van operators, small businesses or fleet customers who hold active hire agreements or have vehicles out on contract with the firm. When a hire company enters administration, existing arrangements can be disrupted at short notice, and customers may find themselves needing to source replacement vehicles quickly.

The timing is particularly notable because the management buyout was presented as a rescue deal. A buyout of that kind typically signals that those closest to the business believed it could be turned around, which makes the subsequent failure within the same year a significant development for the wider light commercial vehicle hire sector.

At this stage, the full circumstances behind the administration have not been confirmed through official channels, and the situation may still be developing. Anyone with vehicles on hire from Reflex Fleet Solutions or outstanding financial arrangements with the firm is advised to seek their own professional guidance and to monitor any communications from the appointed administrators directly.
