What our customers say
“Great quote, over £100 more than other competitors. Simple online process, van collected soon after, money straight in the bank. Recovery driver very helpful with my non runner van that wasn't in the easiest position to take away. Highly recommend.”

Vauxhall Vivaro: what it's worth
The Vauxhall Vivaro has been one of the UK's most popular medium vans since 2001. The Mk1 (2001–2014) shares its platform with the Renault Trafic and Nissan Primastar; the Mk2 (2014–2019) was a mild evolution; and the Mk3 (2019-on) moved to the PSA platform shared with the Citroën Dispatch and Peugeot Expert. All three generations have an active UK parts and salvage market. High-mileage Vivaros are a large part of our regular intake.
What affects the offer on your Vivaro
The most commonly encountered issue on Mk1 and Mk2 Vivaros is the 2.0 dCi M9R injector at high mileage and DPF problems on vans run primarily in urban stop-start use. These are priced into our model, a Vivaro with a DPF warning light or injector rattle is still a viable salvage vehicle. The 1.6 dCi (R9M, introduced on Mk2) has a better reliability record and typically yields stronger component values. Mk3 Vivaros (PSA-based) have a different but equally deep parts ecosystem through the Dispatch/Expert/Proace pool.
Key facts on the Vivaro
- Mk3 (2019-on) PSA-based is now the most actively traded generation, BlueHDi engine demand is strong
- Mk1/Mk2 1.6 dCi (R9M) has better reliability and component values than the older 2.0 dCi M9R
- Sportive and Tourer trim levels don't change our offer, we price on drivetrain and body condition
- Double-cab (crew van) variants have additional seat and interior component value
- Production years
- 2001–present
- Configurations
- SWB, LWB, low and high roof
- Typical operators
- Builders, electricians, plumbers, small fleet operators

Selling your Vauxhall Vivaro, common questions
What's a Vauxhall Vivaro Mk3 with 160,000 miles worth?
+
A 2020 Vivaro Mk3 PSA-based with working drivetrain at 160k typically yields £700–£1,300 salvage. Mk1/Mk2 equivalents at the same mileage are typically £100–£300 less, reflecting the difference in engine demand.
Does the 2.0 dCi M9R injector problem on Mk1/Mk2 Vivaros significantly reduce the offer?
+
We factor it in, a Vivaro with injector problems is priced on the gearbox, axles, and body panels. The fault reduces the engine value, not everything else.
Is a Vivaro Sport or Sportive trim worth more than a standard model?
+
No. We price on drivetrain and body condition, trim level doesn't affect the offer.
Do you buy crew cab Vivaros (double cab)?
+
Yes, crew cab variants have additional interior component value from the rear seating and trim. This is reflected in the offer.
My Vivaro has damage to the sliding door, does that significantly affect the offer?
+
Side door damage affects that specific panel's value but not the drivetrain or the rest of the body. Enter the reg and describe what's happened, we'll price it accordingly.
