All van makes we buy
We price every major van make sold in the UK. Select your make to see which models we cover and what typically determines the offer for that badge.
Why the make and model matters for pricing
Most van-buying websites ignore the make entirely, they apply a generic depreciation formula that produces the same low number for a VW Transporter as it would for a much rarer van with no parts demand. We don't do that.
Our offer is built from the salvage and used market for the specific vehicle: what the engine is worth to a workshop that rebuilds them, what the gearbox fetches on the parts market, whether the ECU has aftermarket demand, whether the body panels fit a van that's in daily use in thousands of UK garages. Ford Transit engines are worth more than obscure equivalents because there are more Ford Transits needing a donor engine right now.
Makes with the deepest salvage markets in the UK
Ford
Transit and Transit Custom: the most liquid salvage market in the UK. Engines, gearboxes, ECUs, doors, all actively traded by independent workshops and fleet repairers.
Mercedes-Benz
OM651 and OM642 engines command premium parts prices. Sprinter gearboxes, front axles, and dashboards are in constant demand from Mercedes-specialist independent garages.
Volkswagen
T5 and T6 Transporter parts, particularly DSG gearboxes, dashboards, and body panels, are among the most actively traded of any van. Crafter benefits from cross-compatibility with MAN.
Vauxhall / Renault / Nissan
Shared platform vans (Vivaro/Trafic/Primastar, Movano/Master/NV400) benefit from a combined parts pool. One van's gearbox fits three makes, which means wider demand and better salvage pricing.

Selling by make, common questions
Do you buy every van make and model?
+
Every major make is covered: Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Vauxhall, Renault, Citroën, Peugeot, Fiat, Nissan, Toyota, Iveco, and LDV. If your make isn't listed, enter your reg anyway, we price most vans regardless of badge.
Does the make affect the offer?
+
Yes, indirectly. Makes with deep UK salvage and parts markets, Ford, Mercedes, Vauxhall, tend to produce stronger offers because there's active demand for their components. Rarer makes may price at a lower figure, but they're still priced rather than declined.
Does the model matter more than the make?
+
Generally yes. The specific model, engine size, production year, whether it's a panel van or chassis cab, determines which parts are valuable and which market the van falls into. A Vauxhall Vivaro on a shared Renault platform prices very similarly to a Renault Trafic, regardless of badge.
What if my van is a rare or unusual model?
+
Enter the reg. If it's rare, the offer may be based on scrap weight rather than salvage parts, but it won't be zero. Rare vans are sometimes worth more, not less, if the parts are hard to find, demand from specialist repairers can push the offer up.
Do you buy imported vans with foreign plates?
+
If the van is UK-registered with a V5C, it's within our standard process. Grey imports that haven't been registered with DVLA are outside our scope.
Can I sell a van that's on finance?
+
Yes. Outstanding finance is common and not a problem. We settle the outstanding balance directly with your lender and pay you the equity. The figure on screen already accounts for this.
